ADARA – ALI FAUSAT BUKKY (Asst Programs Officer)

Bukky is a graduate from Lagos State University Ojo, Lagos Nigeria; she studied Business administration, which has helped her in having a solid business orientation. Being the first child of her family, she grew up taking care of her siblings. This of course, made her to be more passionate about children and responsible as well. She is self-confident, compassionate, dedicated and organized. She loves bringing smile to the faces of children, hence, during her teaching years; parents of kids she had taught praised her for a job well done and for inspiring their kids. This made her eager to do more. She was named as one of the best teachers especially with younger children from ages of 3 and above in one of these teaching engagements.

She is fun loving, ready to give, explore and learn more. Her working with United for kids Foundation has really helped her to achieve her dream.

She enjoys spending time with her kids when she is not working or having other engagements.

ASHAOLU AYOBAMI DEBORAH (UKF Intern)

Ayobami is a fun-loving, ambitious and very determined individual, she loves children and has a strong passion for helping and assisting them in every possible way to have a better future, with a striking personality, she is an advocate for change and for making a positive impact in her society. A graduate of Psychology from the prestigious University of  Lagos, Ayobami has been on the United for Kids Foundation Internship program since August, 2013 and so far it’s been a wonderful journey. She has gained a lot of skills required for her career with children, the skills include handling responsibilities, how to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines, how to work in a team etc. She is hoping to acquire many more skills as she continues working with them.

Life to her means friends and family who you can trust and who trusts you. She is  pretty much on the happy side of life, but she also has her ‘days of’ meaning she also has some sad days or depressed days, though she has friends who look out for her during these times but most times her mum does the job of consoling and bringing her back to life.

Her daily life tip is ”if you think it; it can be done”.

BELLO OLUFEMI (UKF Intern)

Femi is a graduate of Theatre Arts from the University of Ibadan. She also has a post graduate diploma in public relations from the Olabisi Onabanjo University,Ago Iwoye. Presently working with the UKF, her passion for kids developed after secondary school when she worked at her mother’s nursery and primary school in Abeokuta. She realised that children can be nurtured if given the right training. She is married with three children.

BOLARINWA ABDULAKEEM BABATUNDE (UKF Intern)

Abdulakeem’s love and passion for solving problems has always been his greatest strength and he derives joy from helping people in need. Because he loves helping the needy, he became a member of Leo club a humanitarian club whose aim is to help eradicate poverty in Nigeria. His love and passion for solving problems and proffering solutions to problem triggers his dream of becoming a mathematician, the same love and passion but this time for kids drove his volunteering for United For Kids Foundation (UKF) where he has been adopted into the UKF Internship program since January 2014.

GBAYI-OSENI OLOLADE (Programs Officer)

Born in the city surrounded by seven hills and rusted roofs, Lolade’s education started at Maryhill Convent School, Bashorun, Ibadan continued at Abadina College, situated within the campus of Nigeria’s Premier University of Ibadan. Her personal traits of hard work, caring, resilience and assuming responsibilities were cultivated at this period and as a student of sociology at the University of Ilorin, it was thus a natural progression in the development of her person to be of those  This was further confirmed with her deployment to the Family and Community Life Education (FACOLE ) programme during her youth service in Lagos(NYSC), where she was assigned the duty of coaching children between the ages of 9 and 16 on Family Life, Sex Education and Self Esteem.

Working presently at a Foundation dedicated to the caring and development of kids in need would appear as divine, and a culmination of her life’s experiences, education and skills being deployed on a larger scale, a child at a time.

KASUMU-ADEBIYI GBEMISOLA (UKF Intern)

Gbemi’s passion for assisting the less privilege developed from her teen years. With the assistance of her mother, she realized her dreams by caring for people around her. She is friendly, jovial and passionate about kids in her own way to put a smile on their face. She has a bachelor of science in Microbiology from Lagos state university and has worked as a child instructor in Homaths and Chess investment. She is presently working as an intern with United for kids foundation.

Gbemi, lives in Ogba Lagos state, a make-up artist and a bead-professional and has the plan to work more with the less privileged.

OLUGA OLUWAKEMI (Snr Programs Officer)

Kemi is a graduate of Economics from Adekunle Ajasin University, Ondo state. She loves to make a change in the lives of people she comes in contact with. Hence believing in the UKF vision and working with UKF has so far been a step in the right direction.” She is presently, the Snr Programs Officer of UKF.

OLUGBENGA-GOLD ESOHE (UKF Intern)

Popularly called Gold among the UKF Family, she was born in the ancient city of Benin, Edo state where she learnt so many great values from her parents. She graduated from the University of Benin, Benin city, with B.SC [Geology].   Her career life started with Eco bank immediately after the N.Y.S.C programme where I worked as a card operation staff. She is presently enjoying a fulfilling time filled with purpose with United for Kids foundation [UKF] through their internship program. According to her, this is a dream come true as she helps put more smiles on children’s faces.

OGUNSANYA ADEOLA (Programs Officer)

Adeola has a bachelor’s degree in policy and strategic studies from Covenant University, Ogun State, Nigeria. She was a member of Project 1 million souls, while in school. It was an initiative created by a group of students in the school to heal a million soul a year, physically, emotionally financially and otherwise; here, she was in the orphanage arm of the team.

She has a strong passion to make life easier for the poor and needy.  She is currently a programs officer with United for Kids Foundation (UKF), and derives complete fulfillment whenever she puts a smile on the faces of the kids she works with.

 

YUNUS-ALI AAMEENAH OLUWATOSIN (Programs Manager)

Aameenah’s vitality and strength lies in helping, people particularly youths enjoy a fulfilled and fun-filled life in the specter of true values wherever they find themselves. Her passion is creating and participating in programs that pronounce the joy and enrichment one can only find in appreciating God and believing in our inner strength and this is the foundation of her life goals. She is a graduate of Microbiology from the Lagos State University as well as a Change Leadership graduate of the Ariel group. She works full time as the Programs Manager for United for Kids Foundation. She enjoys reading, writing and coaching.
